78Seventy have recently signed with the International Rugby Board to provide event by event Highlights programmes from the prestigious IRB Sevens World Series.

A global eight stop world tour, the IRB Sevens World Series showcases some of the world’s top rugby players in one of the most exciting versions of the sport. Recently welcomed into the Olympic fold for the 2016 Games, Sevens Rugby is a fast and dynamic, and the Sevens World Series sees the world’s top rugby sevens nations come together to perform at the highest level of the game in a grand-prix style competition.

78Seventy’s team will travel to Rosario, Santa Fe and Parana, to produce online video features, highlights and news releases for irb.com and the IRB’s youtube channel.  We will also undertake the role of being the IRB’s ‘offical on-site production team’ for rights-holding broadcasters – making sure that high quality pre and post match and feature content is generated for world-wide distribution.

In addition to the Sevens and Junior World Championships, 78Seventy have been appointed to provide the online video features and highlights for the sixth Womens Rugby World Cup, being held in England in August and September 2010.

78Seventy’s role will also involve supplying rights holding broadcasters with feature material, pre and post match reaction and single camera action during the 3 week tournament.  We will also be producing video news releases for worldwide distribution to further exploit the success of the tournament.
