Work around the World Feed Producing and Production management across the Rugby Sevens, Track Cycling and Table Tennis events will see our guys gather even more multi-games experience, following on from our London 2012 Olympics and Rio 2016 Olympics work.

Rugby World Cup Sevens 2018 – San Francisco
Continuing their strong, reliable and quality Host Broadcast work together, 78Seventy and NEP Ireland have won a tender to become Host Broadcasters of the Rugby World Cup Sevens in San Francisco, USA in July 2018.
Having gone through the bidding process and been appointed, the first site visit to plan the complex but innovative World feed production will shortly be upon us. We look forward to working on what promises to be a ground-breaking event – the first major World Cup involving Rugby in the US – and a chance for the game to grow in a major, key market for World Rugby.
The event will be played over three days at the iconic AT&T Park – home of the San Francisco Giants – and will involve 24 Men’s Rugby Sevens teams, and 16 Women’s Rugby Sevens teams playing in a knock-out format that has never been seen before on the international Sevens rugby scene.
World Rugby Awards 2017 – Monaco
World Rugby Awards have selected 78Seventy as their preferred Host Broadcast partner for the up-coming World Rugby Awards 2017, to be held in Monaco in late November. This will be the first outside broadcast of World Rugby’s annual Awards evening on this scale, with the whole pre event / red carpet and the Awards evening itself being streamed online on World Rugby’s platforms, and a Live World Feed being offered. In addition, 78Seventy’s team of Producers, Cameras and Editors will film and producer bespoke, exclusive ‘Green room’ interviews with all the winners and supply World Rugby’s digital and social media platforms, and the World Rugby TV show with behind the scenes content edit and rushes. Video News releases for each and every Award will also be turned around for World Rugby’s News Access clients.
Women’s Rugby World Cup 2017 – Ireland
78Seventy and partners NEP Ireland have won a tender to become the Host-Broadcasters for Women’s Rugby World Cup 2017.
After a rigourous tender process, 78Seventy & NEP were awarded the contract which will see them undertake the World Feed production for all 30 matches, in which promises to be the biggest and best Women’s Rugby World Cup event ever.
An exciting list of world-wide Rights holding broadcasters will be taking 78Seventy-NEP’s pictures from Dublin and Belfast this August, whilst 78Seventy will also be servicing World Rugby’s Highlights and Digital / Social output as well, throughout the tournament.
This will be the third Women’s Rugby World Cup that 78Seventy have worked on since their inception, and to have played a small part in seeing the event grow each time has been a pleasure for the prodcution and technical staff involved.
Under 20 Championship 2017 – Georgia – Host Broadcast
Following on from 78Seventy’s successful Live Outside Broadcast output of matches at the World Rugby U20 Championship matches from Manchester, England in 2016. 78Seventy have won the conrtact to Host Broadcast all 30 matches at the World Rugby U20 Champioship 2017 event in Georgia. 78Seventy will deliver the world feed to all World Rugby’s rights holders in June 2017, and will also provide news access, Highlights and digital content from this premier event for the sports’ governing body.
Rio Olympics 2016
78Seventy crew members will be working hard during this summers’ Rio Olympics, as they play a major Production role on the Rugby Sevens, Triathlon and Open Water Swimming events – joining OBS and Sky New Zealand for the month, and they’ll also edit Sevens Series related content for World Rugby’s digital and social media channels in reaction to what happens on the Olympic Sevens rugby field throughout the event as well. Rugby Sevens will appear for the first time in the summer Olympics – and 78Seventy will be there helping the Olympic family and World Rugby grow this wonderful game.
HSBC Sevens Series & Women’s Sevens Series & U20 Championship
78Seventy have been appointed to provide their Broadcast Technical & Engineering Management expertise, and provide Highlights programming and digital video content for World Rugby in a multi-year deal. 78Seventy’s role will see them add to the current work they already undertake which comprimises producing a 26 minute Highlights show from each HSBC Sevens Series event and all digital and social media video production, to now include technically managing each and every Outside Broadcast on the Men’s and Women’s Sevens Series plus the U20 Championship on a yearly basis. In addition, 78Seventy will also provide the Video News Release services from all these events.
U20 Championship 2016 – England – Host Broadcast
78Seventy will this June be venturing into the world of Live Outside Broadcasting once again, as they output 12 x World Rugby U20 Championship matches from Manchester, England. The matches, taking place over 5 match days will see the best of the best at Under 20 level take each other on, and 78Seventy’s Live world feeds will be taken by World Rugby’s Rights Holders around the globe. Working in tandem with Sky Sports UK, who will cover the other 18 live matches of the event for the RFU / World Rugby, 78Seventy’s specialist Rugby Union production and technical crew will strive to innovate and evolve the output from this premier annual event once more.
WRWC 2014
78Seventy have been appointed to provide the Broadcast and online video content from the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2014, being held in Paris, August 2014. 78Seventy’s role will see them produce a 26 minute Highlights show which will be distributed world-wide, and we’ll also provide all match highlights and feature content for the IRB’s official online platforms. We will also be supplying Rights Holding broadcasters with feature material, match highlights and bespoke rushes during the 3 week tournament.
IRB Concussion Promo
The IRB have asked 78Seventy’s expert team of editors to work on an educational video to warn about the effects of concussion in sport. Filming will take place over the coming months in countries around the world, with some of the major names in Rugby. Welsh and British & Irish Lions centre Jamie Roberts plus a host of other top stars will give their take on why #Recognise&Remove is the message that everyone involved in rugby should know.
