78Seventy have won a tender process for the multi-year contract to become the IRB’s official on-site broadcast and online video producers for the Junior World Championships. Having covered the tournament for the past 4 years, we’ve now won the race to provide the IRB with a much larger delivery list from 2014 onwards – a full 1 hour Highlights show, online video content plus Rights Holder video provision. We will be travelling to Auckland, New Zealand for the first tournament of this contract in June, which promises to be one of the biggest JWC’s yet.

After impressing on the IRB Sevens World Series / HSBC Sevens World Series for the past 4 years, 78Seventy have now been asked to provide their expertise on the newly-formed Women’s Sevens World Series. As the game of Rugby Sevens picks up momentum ahead of it’s introduction into the Olympic family in Rio 2016, we will be providing online video content/highlights plus features for our flagship Sevens TV show – IRB Sevens World. We will also be helping the IRB maximise the exposure for this new 5-tournament Series by delivering match highlights and more to Rights Holding broadcasters and news outlets.

78Seventy have recently re-signed with the International Rugby Board to provide broadcast programming and online video content from the prestigious HSBC Sevens World Series. A global nine-stop world tour, the IRB Sevens World Series showcases some of the world’s top rugby players in one of the most exciting versions of the sport. Having seen Rugby Sevens been welcomed into the Olympic fold for the 2016 Games, 78Seventy will provide up to 15 ‘IRB Sevens World’ shows, plus online highlights and feature content from location.
